I'm delighted to announce that I will be participating in this year's Shrewsbury Open Studios from my new studio at The Old Creamery in Wem, which I moved to earlier this year from The English Bridge Workshop.
You're invited to visit my studio on the following dates and times: Saturday 13th July from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm and Sunday 14th July from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm.
This exciting event allows artists to open up their creative spaces to the public, offering a unique opportunity for people to engage directly with artists and their work. You can discover a range of art forms including Mosaics, painting, printmaking, jewellery, sculpture and much more.
Over the weekend, you can view my current works in progress, recently completed pieces, and past works. I'll be participating alongside many other talented creatives. You can find their open studio locations and event details on this map: https://www.shrewsburyopenstudios.co.uk/event-map/
If you're travelling by car, there's limited parking available on-site. However, there is a car park at Wem Train Station, which is just a 5-minute walk to the studio. Alternatively, there are a few public car parks available in the town centre. You can also travel by train, it is approximately a ten-minute journey from Shrewsbury.
Please note that the studio is located on the 1st floor and does not have a lift, so it is not wheelchair accessible. However, feel free to contact me if you have other access needs that we could accommodate.
